Lauren Bush Lauren’s Feed Projects Opens In Brooklyn
Lauren Bush Lauren has decided to bring FEED’s mission to life by opening its first stand- alone retail location in DUMBO, Brooklyn. The space is located within DUMBO’s new development, Empire Stores that currently houses Shinola and will be home to The Smile and additional restaurants and cafés this summer.
It was designed by Weddle Gilmore and took into consideration the community to create a unique in-store experience for customers to participate in FEED’s mission directly. It features an assortment of FEED products, including an exclusive FEED Brooklyn tote, a curated selection of socially conscious products and a café. Everything inside this welcoming space will provide customers a myriad of opportunities to give back through their purchases. Whether from providing 10 meals to Brooklyn schools with each purchase of the Brooklyn tote, to supporting global artisans, and shopping fair-trade products.
The café highlights a seating area to enjoy a solo cup of espresso, or as a social gathering spot. Espresso drinks and coffee are from La Colombe, and City Bakery provides select pastry bites.
