An Inside Look At Fantasy Installation The Egg House
NYC’s Lower East Side is the location of an egg-themed pop up that features immersive installations and multi-sensory experiences. The Egg House located steps away from Public Hotel on Chrystie Street is now open until June 27. The 3,300 square foot space spans two floors designed to share the universal love of eggs and a mini escape from the city.
The pop up highlights real life sized rooms involving The Foyer, Kitchen, Hallway, Pool and The Garden- all equipped with interactive features. Upon entry, The Foyer is adorned with a photo wall, leading into the Kitchen that incorporates breakfast themed installations such as an over-sized egg crate. A Hallway of vending machines leads to a Pool filled with caviar-shaped balls. The Garden draws attention to a peephole that looks in The Secret Room- a miniature room that signals The Bedroom.
The Egg House has also collaborated with neighborhood eats including a few treats from Egg shop, and an egg waffle ice cream from Eggloo. The pop up also showcases a gift shop offering various “eggcessories” like the Egg Shop cookbook and hot sauce, jewelry, and tote bags. To purchase tickets, click here.
