Many use the term, “foodie” when describing their delight in eating and drinking. A feel good foodie is the opportunity to share that epicurean passion to those in need. The Annual Food Network City Wine & Food Festival (NYCWFF) presented by Capital One provides all the feel good foodie vibes as the proceeds from the festival help to support New Yorkers facing severe illness. Over the past 15 years, NYCWFF has generated more than $14 million for its charitable partners including God’s Love We Deliver. The four-day fest offers the best ingredients: One part appetite and a dash of culinary excitement.
Held during October 13- 16 the foodie fest featured more than 85 events throughout the city involving walk-around tastings, intimate dinner experiences , late-night soirées, and an all-star line-up of world-renowned chefs. The 2022 edition presented the ultimate food lover’s experience to get immersed in the culinary world. From Master Classes and tasting new burger creations at signature Burger Bash, to Tacos & Tequila After Dark, Aperitivo Hour , or to finally learning the right way to shuck oysters, NYCWFF is why passionate fans of food come out to EAT. Kickoff the festival weekend with the Happiest hour at Mohegan Sun’s Aperitivo hosted by Anne Burrell. Spend sunset at an Italian-inspired cocktail party filled with delectable dishes, countless small plates and Italian canapés paired with spritzy libations , wine and beer.
Sample high-end shellfish at Oyster Bash, presented by Barnegat Oyster Collective. This annual celebration is highlights the freshest catch in all their glory: baked, fried, and of course, on the half shell.
Sip Rosé all day surrounding skyline views at the new RT60 Rooftop Bar & Lounge at the Hard Rock Hotel. From sweet or dry and of course sparkling, enjoy expertly crafted pink hued wines and rosé based cocktails presented by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits paired with delicious bites from the venue’s eclectic menu.
