Vera Bradley Opens Flagship Store in SoHo
If you have ever traveled via plane, train or automobile chances are you either schlepped or noticed someone carrying the highly recognizable patterned bag by Vera Bradley. That is because the quilted oversized cotton bag is a hit across the country! Well good news, Vera Bradley has arrived in New York City with a flagship store in SoHo at 411 West Broadway, between Prince and Spring Streets. This is the first New York City store for Vera Bradley and SoHo is one of the city’s most eclectic shopping destinations. “We are thrilled to open our first Vera Bradley store in New York City, “noted Robert Wallstrom, CEO. “We look forward to showcasing our iconic collections and signature in-store experience to both the local community and tourists. The store illustrates a lifestyle concept, featuring the complete Vera Bradley collection of handbags, luggage, accessories, eyewear, jewelry and fragrance. The store design stays true to the brand’s aesthetic and highlights a ping-pong table, signifying Vera Bradley’s roots as well as a wall of exclusive limited edition duffel bags in iconic NYC scenic prints and patterns as an homage to the neighborhood. The store is also tech equipped with digital walls and an interactive touchscreen to keep customers socially engaged. Sketches from fashion illustrator Dallas Shaw decorate the store along with a wall of treats by Sugarfina.
