The Best Cocktails For Every Occasion
While we continue to stay at home to protect ourselves and others, we are finding ways to keep ourselves occupied and a new space for creativity. Our days are now filled with self -care sessions, trying culinary techniques and improving our bartending skills. Although we have become skilled creating a beautiful charcuterie and pairing the right bottle of vino for any type of meal, there is something exciting about selecting the perfect cocktails for every occasion. Whether it is for brunch, lunch, after dinner, or you know, Wednesday, we have you covered.
Brunch
Smoky Mary
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Chase Oak Smoked Vodka
- 0.5 oz Lemon juice
- Dash of Worcestershire sauce
- Dash of Tabasco Tomato juice top
Method:
Prepare the glass by wetting the rim by running a lemon around it. Mix celery salt and cracked black pepper on a plate and dip the glass. Build all ingredients in the glass over ice and garnish with celery sticks and a lemon wedge.
Lunch
Seagram’s Vodka Southern Sweet Tea Jam
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Seagram’s Sweet Tea Vodka
- 1 oz. lemon juice
- ½ oz. simple syrup
- 1 bar spoon strawberry jam
Method:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake hard to chill and combine ingredients, strain into your glass over fresh ice. Garnish & Enjoy!
Aperitif
Ginger Diplo
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz. Diplomatico Mantuano Rum
- 5 oz. Ginger ale
Method:
Add ice to Collins glass add rum and top off with ginger ale to taste. Stir gently with a bar spoon. Garnish with orange zest. You can also add rosemary for more complex aromas.
After Dinner
Amaro Manhattan
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Bourbon
- 0.75 oz Cardamaro Vino Amaro
- 0.5 oz Amaro Sfumato Rabarbaro
Method:
In a cocktail mixing glass, combine all ingredients with ice. Stir with bar spoon, and then strain into coupe or double rocks glass. Garnish with cherry.
Wednesday
Partida Raspberry Collins
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 oz Partida Blanco Tequila
- 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 3/4 oz Agave Nectar (Cut 50/50 with water)
- 8 to 10 Raspberries
Method:
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously, and then strain over fresh ice into a highball glass. Top with sparkling water or club soda. Garnish: Lemon twist and 3 Raspberries on a pick.
