Rhié’s Spring 2016 collection had a strong western aesthetic all throughout. Casual, loose silhouettes were the emphasis with silk, satin and chiffon fabrics. Creams, ivories and whites were the primary hues; muted blacks, reds and navy were combined with pixel weave and poppy prints.

Cream gowns were adorned with front crochet detailing, and all-white separates were decorated with allover with eyelets and braided rope, making you feel like you were transported into a modernized, fashion-forward prairie field.

Although dresses were present in this presentation, there were a few separates and jumpsuits to break up the flow. A navy linen denim trouser and blazer set stood out against the sea of ivory; a crochet bra top finished the more polished look of the presentation. The heaviest fabric was ivory jacquard used in one look: jacquard coat, top and skirt to give the collection an added depth in between the silks and satins. All in all, Rhié will make you want to go out west with its rustic, chic group.
