Nordstrom knows what drives retail success and has tapped New York socialite/It girl Olivia Palermo and her styling clout to amplify their offering. In addition to their partnership with Opening Ceremony, Madewell and their upcoming launch with Piece & Co., the Seattle-based retailer has partnered with Palermo on their private label brand, Chelsea28. The collection, Olivia Palermo+ Chelsea28 which lands in stores and online today features 32 chic styles of separates that can be mixed, matched, and layered that has a contemporary yet polished and feminine appeal to it. The pieces can be key essentials added to your wardrobe that can create or alter looks throughout the year. “The ‘Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28’ collection reflects how a stylish young woman is dressing today,” noted Mark Tritton, President of Nordstrom Product Group. “Olivia Palermo is revered around the globe for her style. We know our customers look to her for fashion inspiration, and we saw her consistently on our inspiration boards as well. We think she embodies the Chelsea28 brand perfectly, so it was a very natural choice.” The Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 collaboration will roll out four deliveries beginning with spring, followed by summer, fall and holiday. For Spring, the collection involves separates that have a modern yet French flair to it. Highlights include a stripe wool and cashmere pullover, a burgundy midi leather skirt, high rise denim culottes, a wide leg jumpsuit and a suede sleeveless trench that easily be worn as a dress or layered. The Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 collection ranges in price from $68 to $448 and will be available at select Nordstrom locations in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico as well as online.
