Dockers is celebrating a milestone this year- The icon is turning 30. Like most 30 year olds we know throwing a fantastic party is top on the list. Monday night the brand that has taken khakis to the next level along with the CFDA kicked off the opening of New York Fashion Week: Men’s with a 30^th Anniversary party held at Art Beam. The guest list drew in models such as Devon Windsor, Tyson Beckford, to athletes Victor Cruz and Eric Decker to designers Prabal Gurung and Todd Synder demonstrating how admired the brand is across the country. Dockers is one of the sponsors for Fall 2016 NYFW: Men’s and is also hosting a showcase for emerging designers. Monday’s soiree was the right mixture of crowd with fashion influencers and music as DJs Mia Moretti and Mister Saturday Night spun tunes while guests reminisced over throwback 80’s candy like Pop Rocks and Whatchamacallit Bars. Dockers over the course of 30 years has successfully altered the “business casual” look for men, and has soared as the go-to label and style for professional apparel. Turning 30 is when things start to get really good, therefore we cannot wait to see what this label has in stored.
