Quench Your Thirst And Elevate Your Gatherings With These Refreshing Summer Cocktails
It’s summertime and the living is easy. While the temperature may be hot, beat the heat with refreshing summer cocktails They are the quickest, and a delicious way to cool down. We have selected some warm weather drink recipes that are the best remedy for long, hot afternoons by the pool, rooftop, or beach house. After all, one of summer’s greatest pleasures is dining alfresco with a cool cocktail in hand.
Summer of Tiki
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz of Zaya Rum
- ½ oz of Templeton Rye 4 year
- ¾ oz of lime juice
- 1 oz of pineapple juice
- ½ oz of simple syrup
- ½ oz of cinnamon syrup
Method:
Add all ingredients into shaker except the Templeton Rye. Shake then strain into pilsner glass with crushed ice. Float Templeton Rye on top. Garnish and Enjoy!
Rum Daisy
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Zaya Rum
- ¾ oz of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon grenadine
- 1 teaspoon simple syrup
Method:
Include all ingredients into shaker. Next, shake then strain into rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish and Enjoy.
Peach Palmer
Ingredients:
- 1 oz E&J Peach Brandy
- 1 oz Iced Tea
- 1 oz Lemonade
Method:
Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and then strain into a highball glass. Add ice and garnish with a lime wedge.
Peach Sidecar
Ingredients:
- 2 oz E&J Peach Brandy
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Triple Sec
Method:
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and then strain into rocks glass. Add ice and garnish with an orange peel.
Lime And Strawberry Drop Martini

Ingredients:
- 2 oz Seagram’s Lime Vodka
- 1 ounce lime juice
- ½ ounce strawberry simple syrup
- ½ ounce triple sec
Method:
Rim your glass with sugar. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to chill all ingredients. Next, fine strain into a coupe glass. Garnish & Enjoy!
EFFEN® Amore
Ingredients:
- 2 oz EFFEN® Vodka
- 1 oz tonic water
- 1 oz peach juice
Method:
Mix ingredients and garnish with raspberries & sugar.
Laphroaig® Backyard Collins
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz Laphroaig® Select
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz Orange Juice
- 1/2 oz Vanilla Syrup* (instructions below)
- 3/4 oz Cherry Heering® Liqueur
- 1 Dash Angostura® Bitters
- Light Lager Beer
- Lemon Wheel (for garnish)
Method:
Combine all other ingredients except lager in a cocktail shaker and strain into a Collins glass with fresh ice. Top with a light lager beer and garnish with a lemon wheel.
*Vanilla Syrup Recipe:
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 Vanilla Bean
Combine vanilla syrup ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil (1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 1 vanilla bean split open). Let cool and strain.
Cruzan® Island Spirit Swizzle
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Cruzan® Estate Diamond Dark Rum
- 1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 5 mint sprigs
- 3 dashes Angpstura® bitters
- 3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
Method:
Build in a Collins glass. Add 4 sprigs of mint, lime juice, simple syrup and rum. Add crushed ice to fill the glass. Add both Angostura® and Peychaud’s bitters on top of cocktail. Garnish with mint sprig.
Rosemary Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Templeton Rye 6 year
- 1 teaspoon of rosemary simple syrup
- 3 dashes of aromatic bitters
Method:
Include all ingredients into a mixing glass. Next, stir then strain over fresh ice into a low-ball glass. Garnish and Enjoy.
Strawberry Summer Rye Sour
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Templeton Rye 4 year
- ¾ ounce lemon juice
- ¾ ounce of strawberry simple syrup
- 1 egg white
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake hard to chill and combine ingredients. Next, strain out ice. Shake hard again to further emulsify ingredients. Double strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish & Enjoy!
Bubbly Rum Berry Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Zaya Rum
- 1 oz of lemon
- 1 oz of strawberry simple syrup
- top with lemon soda
Method:
Add all ingredients into shaker. Next, shake then strain over fresh ice. Top with lemon soda. Garnish and Enjoy!
Margarita Al Pastor
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Corralejo Silver
- 8 pieces charred pineapple
- 1 oz. chile syrup
- ½ oz. agave syrup
- 1 oz. lime juice
Method:
Rim your glass with salt . Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to chill with all ingredients. Fine strain into a coupe glass. Garnish & Enjoy!
