Dinner And A Movie Just Got Better At This NYC Movie Theater

Dinner and a movie can sometimes become problematic: It may involve one frantically scarfing food down at a nearby restaurant in a rush to make it in time for previews or going out to eat post- movie which may be way past your bed time. Many cinemas are beginning to offer movie- goers upscale eating options that don’t involve chicken fingers and nachos and we are thrilled. CMX Cinemas, a subsidiary of Cinemax has opened the ultimate VIP Dinner and a movie experience in NYC. Located at Manhattan’s Upper East Side at 450 East 63nd Street, is the new CMX CineBistro. The 45,500 square foot space revamped an existing theater while maintaining the integrity of the building’s structure. The six-story structure features six auditoriums, involving two theaters on each floor and bars located in the common areas. Have a drink at the bar or sip in the theater in a plush recycling chair with dinner.

Specialty cocktails include a Rosemary Dirty Martini infused with Catskill Mountain peach vodka, dry vermouth, and herbed Boursin cheese stuffed olives, and a Smoked Bourbon, incorporating Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Hickory Smoked Ice Cube and Vanilla Syrup. The Dinner menu features Moroccan Lamb Lollies, Short Rib Mac and Cheese, or a Meatless Cobb Salad. Arrive early (30 minutes prior to previews) to ensure the full dining experience. Now, let’s go to the movies!
