For Spring 2016, Tia Cibani held her presentation at a private residence that was transformed into a tropical fusion. Guests were immersed in the colorful cultures of the Brazilian people including vibrant hues, exotic plants and caipirinhas, referencing the Bahia culture, which coincided with the inspiration of the collection. Models were broken into groups, frequently in shades of white with one cluster in black. Crisp cotton poplin was highlighted throughout the collection appearing in a t-shirt with open back and ribbon detail paired with a quilted bolero jacket and cropped trousers, or in a shirt dress and vest styled with white foam slides by Birkenstock. The assortment in black included a sueded cupro halter wrap jumpsuit that is sure to be a hit whether strutting around town or perhaps at a street carnival partying way into the night.
