Something Exciting Is Happening And Its Called Noir At Bergdorf Goodman
For many, especially living in New York, the color black is the standard of their wardrobe. Although the latest fashion trends and hues involve bright pops of color, black is considered timeless, an essential, and sometimes provocative. Bergdorf Goodman’s new shop, Noir, exudes that and more. Located on the second floor of the Fifth Avenue luxury store Noir is an intimate shopping experience that highlights products and exclusive collaborations designed to showcase dark glamour, femininity and a little seduction. Noir was curated by Linda Fargo, Bergdorf Goodman’s SVP and Women’s Fashion Director. After the success of Linda’s at Bergdorf Goodman, her first curated space we revealed during holiday, we are sure this one will be a hit as well.
It is designed to be a seductive experience, making it a must place to visit in person. The shop arouses the senses with its signature scent, Do It For Love, in addition to the playlist, specialty house cocktails and attractive events.
The shop offers ready-to-wear, unique vintage finds, accessories, edibles, art, lingerie, beauty products, furniture and more. Select items from the in-store collection are also available online at BG.com. “Noir is where it all starts,” noted Fargo. “More than a color, this is the ultimate signal of style—strong, seductive, mysterious and timeless. What else is there?”
Noir fuels excitement and the senses creating an environment with every texture of black, including furry, sleek, burnt and shiny. There are vintage vanities and boudoir accessories mixed in with frocks by Valentino, a Gucci jacket, and a Tom Ford sequined dress. The shop also features exclusive collaborations by Brandon Maxwell, Aquazzura, Judith Leiber, and J. Mendel. To celebrate the launch of the new space, an intimate bash was held during New York Fashion Week with VIPs including Brandon Maxwell, Padma Lakshmi, Lorraine Schwartz, Gilles Mendel, Josie Natori, Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. So what’s happening at Bergdorf’s? Well, obviously something exciting and extraordinary.
