H&M’s fall guest collaboration with Parisian house of Balmain will arrive in stores on next month. Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing is bringing the luxury brand’s mix of couture nature and streetwear attitude to a larger audience. ” H&M allows me the unique possibility of bringing everyone into the world of Balmain, get a piece of the dream and create a global #HMBalmaination: a movement of togetherness, fueled on a hashtag, “ noted Rousteing, “H&M is a brand that everybody connects to. It calls for unity, and I am all for it.” We got a little peek at the Balmain x H&M lookbook and have already flagged our favorites. The collection includes apparel and accessories for men and women and is a little more expensive than past H&M collaborations. However, it is definitely worth it especially snagging the black and white dress ($570 retail) that was hand-sewn with 250,000 beads. The collection highlights Balmain staples, in fabrics including silk and velvet. Tailored jackets, and bold details like metallic thread, and ropelike patterns in dresses and a lion embroidery. Accessories are going to be sought after as well encompassing everything from headphones, beaded clutches, and biker boots. So, here are the looks we love from the Balmain x H&M collection.
