Larsson & Jennings Opens First US Flagship in New York’s Bleecker Street
Swiss-made watch brand Larsson & Jennings has opened their first U.S. Flagship in New York’s West Village at 335 Bleecker Street. What began as an e-commerce boutique reimagining classic designs mixing Anglo-Swedish tanneries with Swiss mechanics, is making a major presence in the US . Larsson & Jennings is currently sold at Nordstrom, Net-A-Porter and MatchesFashion.com and their London flagship. However, with the success of the concept space on Prince Street, the brand is settling at one of Manhattan’s main shopping corridors. Bleecker Street has always been charming and blends tree-lined residential properties with a collection of luxury retailers including Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, and Michael Kors. “Opening a physical touchpoint in the U.S to follow our existing London flagship is an exciting step for us, as we launched just four years ago as an commerce-only business,” noted Larsson & Jennings CEO, Andrew Jennings. “Expanding into the U.S. has always been an ambition of ours and we’re excited to literally put ourselves on the map with our Bleecker Street store.”
The 470 square foot space highlights a unique cantilevered watch bar that runs the dimension of the store. On display features the core collections, including Lugano, Saxon, and the recently launched Norse series. The overall design was inspired by the surrounding area and features for instance a white terracotta exterior similar to the neighboring Our Lady of Pompeil Church. There is also a Fika coffee bar inside for customers to enjoy the Swedish coffee culture, and projectors showcasing Larsson & Jennings latest campaigns and collaborations.
