Style On Pointe: The Under Amour x Misty Copeland Signature Collection

Under Armour and Misty Copeland recently launched the principal ballerina’s first-ever signature collection with the athletic brand. An unveiling was held at NYC’s Cadillac House with Copeland and executives from Under Armour. The intimate gathering got everyone excited about the chic to street possibilities.
The Misty Copeland Signature Collection highlights a versatile assortment without compromising on performance. The line embodies Copeland’s effortless, and elevated feminine look outside of the studio. It features transitional pieces including a dress, trench coat, bomber jacket, body suit, and two-piece sets that all can be worn separately, or paired together.
The collection utilizes UA Breathelux fabric, which is wicking with a silky smooth, lightweight finish. Several pieces from the collection highlight a perforated lace pattern for additional ventilation and understated style. Prices range from $60 for a signature woven tank top to $550 for a leather bomber.
“Under Armour helped my vision become a reality and I’m so excited to share this collection with women everywhere,” noted Copeland. “I wanted a line where we could feel fierce in the gym, and at the same time, feel confident wearing the same look out to dinner, running errands or living our everyday lives. As someone that appreciates style and fashion as much as I do, it has been a dream come true to be so intimately involved in the design process.
