New York Fashion Week: Custo Barcelona Spring 2015

Custo Barcelona, a brand known for its bold prints and edgy take on high fashion, did not disappoint during its SS15 fashion show. Similar to many shows this season, Custo Barcelona Spring 2015 prevalent themes included mesh and lace overlay and symmetrical cutouts. But there were many fresh ideas throughout as well: satin men’s lounge pants, paisley prints, heavy use of pastels, and unstructured linen blend blazers. The bold prints weren’t just limited to the swimwear and apparel on display; the handbags and messenger bags paired with many looks often mimicked the same prints. Many pieces exhibited intricate, tropic-inspired detailing. The Custo vision of SS15 is one that’s unafraid to make a bold statement and proudly displays its European influence in every piece.
