Because Gin Is In, Here’s How To Celebrate Gin & Tonic Day

If your go to drink is a gin and tonic, today is your lucky day because it marks International Gin & Tonic Day. And what better way to fete the spirit than to enjoy a cocktail! Gin was all the rage in the roaring Twenties and during the Prohibition. And now, it is undergoing an exciting rebirth thanks to the growing trend of retro-cocktails and the revival by mixoligists. Gin is back in the spotlight. To fete, our friends from The Botanist, will be serving up unique Botanist & Tonics throughout the city.

Midtown’s Monarch Rooftop (71 West 35thStreet) highlights Botanist & Fiery. NoHo’s Misirizzi (36 East 4thStreet) will feature the Empire Botanist & Tonic, Texas Botanist & Tonic, and The South Beach Botanist & Tonic. Rochelle’s (205 Christie Street) will craft the Empire Botanist & Tonic, Texas Botanist & Tonic, and the South Beach Botanist & Tonic at its Lower East Side bar. Crown Heights’ Drink (768 Franklin Street ) cocktail of choice is the Botanist & Tonic. If not in the NYC area, round up your friends and entertain your guests with a few delicious gin cocktails listed below. Cheers!
