This spring, denim is showing up everywhere in a wide range of silhouettes and fabrics and we are loving it! Denim is universal. It is arguably spring’s best trend and can be dressed up or down. For Spring/Summer 2016, celebrity stylist Camille Seydoux has teamed up with Parisian shoemaker Roger Vivier in creating a capsule collection entirely in denim for the house’s Prismick line, Prismick Denim. Seydoux is best known for dressing her sister, Léa Seydoux on the red carpet for films including Spectre and The Grand Budapest Hotel. Her client list also includes Zoe Saldana and Miranda Kerr. “We decided that my collection would be dedicated to the Prismick line created in 2012, which is one of my favourites”, noted Seydoux. “I looked through the Maison’s archives and then I thought of denim. It’s a fabric that naturally burnishes. Denim is both classic and modern, and significant detail, is very resistant.”
Six pieces make up the limited-edition collection featuring platform sandals, ankle booties, sneakers and handbags all made of patchwork in different hues of denim. The denim accessories are designed to create an ultra-chic, fresh attitude to Roger Vivier, which is best known for the silver buckle and stilettos. The Camille Seydoux for Prismick capsule collection is available in flagship Roger Vivier stores around the world.
