The Juice Lady Shares Detox Soup Recipes For A Healthy Body in Souping Is The New Juicing
As we move into another season, we ponder the best way to cleanse. For some, it is a way to recharge, rejuvenate and renew from all of the toxins in your body consumed for a healthier life. According to Nutritionist and author, Cherie Calbom, “Toxins in the brain can cause a host of cognitive and emotional problems. They make us weak, restless, and unable to fight off infections, and can even cause pain in our muscles and joints.”
A great way to rid the body of toxins is with nutrient-charged soups. Usually low in its glycemic index, soup is a heartier and warmer alternative to juicing. In her latest book, Souping Is The New Juicing, Calbom shares three doetox soup recipes packed with superfoods for detoxing the body that will also heal and help in weight loss.
Superfoods including kale, beets, and watercress are natural detoxifiers as they eliminate pollutants from the body. Below are three soup recipes to try in your quest for wellness. If looking for superfoods in skincare, check out our post on the products to boost your beauty game.
