#NYFW Timo Weiland Women’s Spring 2017 Presentation
The Timo Weiland Spring 2017 Women’s Collection was held at Samsung’s new space at 837 Washington Street that combines art, fashion, technology, and sport in a truly innovative environment. The collection fashioned by the trio: Tim Weiland, Alan Eckstein and Donna Kang captured today’s New York streetwear girl by borrowing a few looks from the boys, and we love it. A tricolor front zip shirt paired with drawstring cropped track pants styled with a silk bomber and choker shows that you can have a tomboy style and look sexy. Bold prints were shown, sometimes mixed with laid-back ensembles, like a track pant in a black and brown tiger print shown with a baseball shirt and color blocked suede jacket in camel. Dresses were quite feminine, and showing just the right amount of skin, in a cross-body maxi dress in blue or the red maxi dress with scallop detail and double slits. This fashion week, most designers offered the see-now- buy now option for customers and lucky for us Timo Weiland is on that list! A few of the items from this collection including the cat-eye sunglasses, baseball shirt, cutout shoulder dress, and cropped navy tee are available now at the CFDA Retail Lab in SoHo and via the Project September App.
