Wine Lovers Rejoice With These Happenings This Month
Rhône Valley Vineyards launched RVV Wine Bar, a month-long campaign this June. RVV Wine Bar showcases the wines, history and producers of the French region in four vibrant restaurants across New York City. Each participating dining establishment will host a weeklong series of happenings ranging from happy hours, to tastings, and trade dinners:

The week of June 3, at this Hudson Yards restaurant guests can experience happy hour on Wednesday and Thursday from 5-11pm.
Ardesia Wine Bar
On Tuesday, June 11, this Hell’s Kitchen wine bar will host a ticketed tasting featuring vino from 6 legendary crus. On June 12, Costières de Nîmes wines will be showcased during happy hour. Guest who purchase a glass will receive a complimentary tapas plate.
Fairfax
June 18 at this West Village neighborhood spot brings a focus on Ventoux, where guests receive a complimentary tapas plate with every glass purchased.
Compagnie des Vins Surnaturel
Head here the week of June 24 to the Rhône Room. Regional flights will be paired with French fare for a transportive experience.

The Vinho Verde Wine Experience
Returning to New York City for a third year, The Vinho Verde Wine experience will take place Saturday, June 15 at Second Floor (849 6thAvenue). Sample and enjoy ever-flowing wine from over 30 top, specially curated wineries in the Vinho Verde region of Portugal, with bites from NYC’s hottest restaurants. The day long festival is categorized into three sessions featuring mixologists crafting delicious drinks, live music and treats. Purchase tickets here.
Created by culinary agency Taste Network, the fete kicks off summer with the discovery of wine, food and ambiance of the Côtes du Rhône. The bash held on Sunday, June 23 at Second Floor will showcase over 60 wines spanning different varieties of the Côtes du Rhône highlighting the diversity and heritage of the area.
