The Must Have Shirts To Get From Thomas Pink Fall 2013 Collection
Thomas Pink’s Fall 2013 Menswear Collection paid tribute to English race car drivers James Hunt and Jackie Steward and their sense of style illustrating a palette in British racing green and reds which were noticed especially in some of the color blocked accessories. Highlights included archival inspiration, keeping to their balance of classic and contemporary tailored clothing that included a sophisticated constructed weave and patterns in the Beaufort collection.
For the women’s collection, the inspiration came from fashion icons Katharine Hepburn and Diana Vreeland. There is a focus on the white shirt, with a little boldness in color found in cornflower blue, emerald, fuchsia and scarlet. Highlights included the shirtdress, buttoned and belted that can be worn at least 5 different ways. Since the womenswear category contributes one-third of the brand’s sales, a new 60 piece women’s line will be introduced to customers this August. The assortment will center on the white button down and will also include skirts, pants, and jackets.
