The 92nd Annual Academy Awards ceremony will be held on February 9. Whether you are heading to Los Angeles to pop bottles with the biggest winners, or hosting Hollywood’s glitziest night with an Oscars Party of your own, we have selected the perfect bubbly for the occasion that embodies red carpet appeal. After all, champagne makes everything better. Piper-Heidsieck will return as the sole champagne to be served during the 92nd Oscars awards season. This year, the French Champagne House will fete with a special limited-edition bottle celebrating 100 years since Prohibition. We got a sneak peek of the festive bottle during an intimate breakfast celebrating the nominees inside NYC’s The Tuck Room. Piper-Heidsieck is paying tribute to cinema in the Roaring Twenties by releasing a limited edition magnum featuring the House’s signature Cuvee Brut. The label will feature a replica of the one used during the Prohibition era.

“In the 1920s, bootleggers would smuggle Piper-Heidsieck into the United States where it would be secretly served in speakeasies throughout New York City,” noted Benoit Collard, General Manager for Piper-Heidsieck, “Now Hollywood’s biggest stars will get to enjoy the same Piper-Heidsieck Brut during the biggest awards show of the year.”

The structure features 55% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Meunier. It highlights a classic, well-strutted and fruit forward champagne. Piper-Heidsieck will be poured exclusively at the awards ceremony and at the official Oscars afterparty, Governor’s Ball. The fizzy spirit will also be served at Academy events in Los Angeles, New York and London, as well as the Oscar Nominees Luncheon that will be held on January 27.
