The 2015 Taste Talks series trekked to Brooklyn to hold it festivities on celebrating the future of flavor by hosting symposiums, parties and our favorite, tastings! The three-day event was filled with everyday foodies engaging in one-of-a-kind experiences. To kick things off, DJ Questlove and Dominique Ansel held an intimate Dessert party Friday night on the rooftop at the McCarren Hotel. And that was just the beginning. Saturday morning, food-focused New Yorkers woke up to a savory and sweet chicken and waffles brunch from the folks at Pies ‘n’ Thighs. Throughout the day discussions held on subjects ranging from how to take wonderful food photos that are Instagram worthy, a Kellogg’s® Cereal Bar Throwdown with top chefs in competition, how to master the art of tasting wine, and concluding the evening with oysters and wine pairings with a delectable multi-course dinner. Sunday was all about the All-Star BBQ sampling feast that brought world-renowned chefs, teaming up with artists, musicians and celebrities to create mouthwatering signature dishes.
