Last week the Upper East Side welcomed new neighbor, Monique Lhuillier, as she opened her New York Flagship Salon in a brownstone at 19 E. 71^st Street. The salon nestled between Fifth and Madison Avenue was a 19^th century 2- story townhouse. The street level carries her ready-to-wear line, including accessories, while the top level is an intimate bridal salon. Overall, the store invites a warm and luxurious setting that is quite charming. The bridal salon is decorated in soft greys and equipped with a fireplace, and various rooms decorated with Waterford chandeliers. To honor the occasion, an intimate fete ensued with a few close friends including Muffie Potter Aston, Jamie Tisch, and Kelly Rutherford. Guests were treated to mini wedding cupcakes and champagne while enjoying tunes spun by Harley Viera-Newton.
