Heading East This Weekend? Lisa Perry Offers A Taste Of Summer

Fashion designer Lisa Perry has joined forces with Chef Dominique Ansel, (well-known for Cronut) to host a one day only ice cream pop up truck on August 2 at the Lisa Perry East Hampton store on 67 Main Street. Warhol-inspired “sundaes in a can” will be served with flavors of Perry’s favored soda pop dessert, the root beer float of course! Fixings include root beer ice cream, stracciatella ice cream, mascarpone semi freddo, macerated cherries, toasted marshmallows and mini meringues. The sundaes in a can are priced at $15 with 20 percent of the proceeds going to City Harvest. The ice cream pop up truck begins at noon until supplies last so get there early!

“For my debut evening wear collection, I wanted to explore effortless elegance. I was inspired by American architect, Louis Kahn, whose work defined 20th Century Modernism. My collection focuses on bias cuts and simplicity of shape. It’s really about gentle motion.

I use organic ornamentation, playing with scale to create sumptuous textures. Patinas are used to enhance their depth and richness.

I truly want to dress women at night in a way that’s relevant for today.”
