Suitsupply Created The Ideal Palette For Fall 2016
Yes, summer just commenced but before you know it, fall will arrive and so it is time to start getting equipped for all of the new and exciting gear coming this way. Dutch suit retailer Suitsupply’s design team took a stroll through MoMA for inspiration for Fall 2016. Mark Rothko’s “No.3/No.13” piece sparked an interest for the team to view the suit as a canvas, and the styled furnishings as the palette. Warm hues including copper, emerald, and deep blue are the key hues this season, similar to the local flavor and landscape of countries such as Tibet, India and Afghanistan. The collection was designed with the intent on layering pieces, such as knits and vests making it effortless for transitioning into chillier months. A soft gray puffer vest is paired with off-white ribbed turtleneck sweater and trousers to break up the monotone look. Windowpanes and pinstripes created stylish looks for the office or occasional business meeting. Sometimes adorned with a tie or without showing a casual appeal.
