NYC’s Trendy New Restaurant Offers Italian Fare In The East Village
Do not let the name fool you; Nobody Is Perfect is actually the name of the hot new Italian restaurant located in Manhattan’s East Village at 235 E. 4th Street. Created by Alphabet City’s Pardon My French owner Mario Carta, we should expect nothing less than a catchy name for one of his dining establishments. Inside is quite inviting, decked with wood and metal fixtures and exposed brick walls. An area tucked inside fashioned with vintage LP’s and a tufted leather sofa creates the ideal spot to chat with friends over a glass of vino and nibbles. We are sure this will become a neighborhood favorite.
However, the beauty of the wood and furniture does not take center stage. It is all about the food! The signature dish, a Buddhist style whole rotisserie chicken served with french fries is a must-have. The menu also includes a rigatoni carbonara that is served inside a pecorino cheese wheel, and our favorite, pizza- topped with mortadella, artichokes and burrata. There is also a pizza named Gluttony, served with potatoes, and baccala mantecato that is on our list for next visit. Nobody Is Perfect is open daily for dinner and weekend brunch.
