Liquor Lab Teaches Beginners How To Make Cocktails
There’s no denying the excitement of hosting a party and having fabulous drinks on the menu. After all, the craftiest trend is making the cocktails at home. If you are willing to be more ambitious than mixing a gin and tonic, try signing up for a class that will teach you how to make cocktails. Liquor Lab, located in NYC’s SoHo neighborhood offers the perfect cocktail making experience.
A 2-hour experiential session provides step -by -step instructions on how to make iconic mixtures like an Old Fashioned, or a Manhattan, a lively session featuring Japanese Whiskey, or boozy Brunch Cocktails. In addition to spirits, Liquor Lab also offers classes on wine and craft beer.
The intimate setting is equipped with all the tools needed including a muddler, a cocktail strainer and spirits. Notable experts in the industry lead the classes so you are getting top -notch experience. Our session featured famed mixologist Freddie Sarkis and Liquor Lab owner, Owen Meyer. We learned how to shake, stir and of course, enjoy exciting mixtures including a Spicy Mezcal Margarita, Spiced Rum Mojito, Pineapple Basil Smash, and an Aged Rum Old Fashion.
We hear American Bartender of the Year Joaquín Simó, Maria Carlin of Mother’s Ruin/Loverboy, and Jupiter Disco’s Al Sotack will also be making appearances so sign up quickly! Prices range from $55- $75, less than your last bar tab. Preview classes begin December 13 and the official opening is January 4.
