Lord & Taylor Launches The Dress Address Floor At Flagship Location
Searching for the perfect dress, no matter the occasion just got easier thanks to Lord & Taylor. The Manhattan flagship store located on Fifth Avenue between 38th and 39th street has revealed a newly updated space devoted entirely to hit category of the moment. To fete, the retailer celebrated with a bash Thursday evening with a special performance by Janelle Monáe. Guests included fashion notables Bibhu Mohapatra, Barbara Tfank, Sam Edelman, Veronica Webb and Constance White.
Previously, dresses were sprinkled on the third and fourth floors at the flagship. Now, the fifth floor is dedicated to dress shopping. No matter the occasion, from prom and vintage styles to contemporary and designer. Exclusive styles and emerging and established brands include Badgley Mischka, Calvin Klein, Carmen Marc Valvo, Karl Lagerfeld Paris, Rachel Rachel Roy, Rachel Zoe, and Tadashi Shoji.

The new fifth floor spans 30,000 square foot space and highlights a rotating pop-up shop, concierge service and The Gallery. The rotating pop-up shop will change quarterly . It currently features one-of-a-kind vintage dresses curated by Cameron Silver, Co-Founder of Decades. The next installment will feature Paper Crown, designed by Lauren Conrad.
A concierge is stationed on-site to greet customers and to connect them to any of the 30+ stylists to aid in shopping needs. Fitting rooms are equipped with call buttons; selfie sticks and illuminated mirrors that feature adjustable mood settings for day, home, office and night. The Galley, a dedicated area for designer dresses elevates the shopping experience. Exclusive packaging, complimentary alterations, luxurious robes and spacious personal shopping suites are some of the services offered. The Gallery offers luxury dresses including Oscar de la Renta, Marchesa, Naeem Khahn Reem Acra, and Preen by Thornton Bregazzi.
