Levi’s feted the launch of their new Women’s Denim Collection by hosting a private exhibit in the Meatpacking District featuring a photography series of inspiring and iconic women from the areas of fashion, music, and art lensed by Petra Collins, all styled in the new Denim Collection. Images of Joan Jett, Erin Wasson, Leigh Lezark of The Misshapes, and Jillian Hervey of Lion Babe were on display with quotes on what the denim brand meant to them. “The thing I admire about what Levi’s is doing is that they are focusing on a wide spectrum of women, “ noted Jett,” You see all shapes, sizes and styles in Levi’s. I think its great.”
The new collection is modern, feminine, and very sexy. Models in the new Women’s Denim Collection Lot 700 Series were on hand to show how amazingly stylish and flattering each pair were- whether paired with pumps or flats, cuffed or cropped, all were appealing and accessible for every body type. The fits include 710 Super Skinny, 711, Skinny, 712 Slim, 714 Straight, 715 Bootcut, and 721 High Rise Skinny. The new Women’s Denim Collection incorporates the latest fabric innovations and slimming technologies to create the best fit possible for each body type with Levi’s authentic details. For Fall 2015, the Levi’s ad campaign, built around the theme, “Live in Levi’s” dedicated to women’s and features singer/songwriter Alicia Keys.
