Jose Cuervo Celebrates Especial 222 Bottle Series

In celebration of its 222^nd birthday, tequila maker Jose Cuervo unveiled the Cuervo x Cavolo x Campus capsule collection during New York Fashion Week. The fête brought the Extortionists Ibe Soliman and Public School’s Dao-Yi Chow as DJs to the fashion elite crowd at Meatpacking’s Kola House.

To honor Jose Cuervo’s colorful and storied history, menswear designer Carlos Campos and artist Ricardo Cavolo teamed up to create new designs. It was for the tequila company’s limited edition Jose Cuervo Especial 222 bottle series. Each piece highlights a distinct design fusing the two creative geniuses and illustrates the story of 4 key periods in Cuervo’s history: Heart, Lady, Devil and Music. Campos highlighted Cavolo’s extraordinary illustrations in limited-edition pieces including a tote bag, sweatshirt and T-shirt.
