What To Do
The Kentucky Bourbon Trail & Urban Bourbon Trails
Sip, stroll and savor your way across the Bluegrass on a distillery adventure. Highlights include exploring Louisville, Lexington, and Bardstown. While in Louisville, head to Michter’s Fort Nelson Distillery to view the pot stills from the original Mitchter’s Pennsylvania Distillery which traces its history back to 1753. Stay at the Omni Hotel & Resort, which is steps away from Michter’s and has the stylish speakeasy, Pin + Proof that transports guests back to the era when alcohol and jazz flowed freely during Prohibition.
In Lexington, visit Woodford Reserve Distillery, Kentucky Derby’s official spirit. Be sure to make a reservation for an extended National Landmark Tour, or the Corn to Cork Tour and have lunch at Glenn’s Creek Café. Stay at the 21 C Museum Hotel, nestled in the heart of Lexington. This boutique hotel also serves as an art museum and cultural center as it is located within the city’s arts and theater district along “Museum Row”.
