Gigi Hadid Teams Up With Stuart Weitzman to Design The Gigi Boot
Stuart Weitzman has enlisted model Gigi Hadid not only as the face for their fall 2016 ad campaign but also partnered with the beauty in designing an exclusive new footwear for the brand, called the Gigi boot. If you were thinking she created another over-the-knee boot she usually sports for the brand, think again! The Gigi Boot is more of a hiker-inspired high heel combat bootie motivated by the 21-year old model’s street style chicness. It is set on a stacked heel, and adorned with metallic eyelets accented by duo-toned laces that wrap around the ankle with a detailed collar. The Gigi boot is available in three materials: a classic-yet- modern nero soft croco-calf leather bootie that retails for $598, and an iron specchio metallic and copper glass metallic both retailing for $565. To up the ante in this fabulous collaboration, Stuart Weitzman has partnered with Pencils of Promise, a financial commitment the brand has made this fall 2016 season to build three schools, one each in Ghana, Guatemala, and Laos. We love when companies and celebrities give back! This important initiative is involved in creating quality elementary education programs with rural regions of developing nations because everyone deserves education.
