Venture South This Month To The Annual Taste Of Seaport
As we have mentioned, Manhattan’s South Street Seaport neighborhood has been on a mission to be one of New York’s coolest hangouts. The historic district situated at the lowermost part of the island has us headed downtown. New fashion boutiques, a waterfront venue, a hotel, and a fantastic dining scene along the cobblestone streets make this area a must see this month. To celebrate the incredible food and beverage movement, head to the Annual Taste of Seaport. October 20 marks the 9thannual event.
Taste of Seaport, which is sponsored by The Howard Hughes Corporation, New York Presbyterian, and Vins de Provence, will be filled with musical beats, and treats from over 40 food merchants. Proceeds from Taste of Seaport will benefit arts and enrichment programs for public schools in the financial district. The annual fall event will offer delicious tastes and sips from restaurants including by Chloe, Wolfgang Puck’s Cut, Vintage 61, Dorlan’s Tavern & Oyster Bar and Stout.
