Haze Collection Spring/Summer 2015 Presentation

Haze Collection Spring/Summer 2015

Eyewear Brand Haze Collection Unveils Spring 2015 Collection

Cutting edge eyewear brand Haze Collection hosted its SS15 presentation on the 24th floor penthouse of the Hudson Hotel Friday night. Models were either shirtless or dressed in neutral all white looks to ensure the one of a kind sunglasses were front and center. Many of the models on hand doubled as both spokespersons and visual representations of the brand.

The glasses feature a special swivel hinge that no other eyewear brand uses and sources the acetate for the glasses from Italy. Though the brand is up and coming, its styles have already been seen on celebrities like Rihanna and featured in high-end fashion mags like VMan. The brand aesthetic is equal parts Avant-garde and sophistication. If this presentation is any indication, these sunglasses will be the most sought after summer accessory in 2015.

Menswear Collective Runway Spring 2015

New York Fashion Week: Fashion Gallery’s Menswear Collective

Despite an early snafu involving a wax paper cover on the runway, Fashion Gallery’s Menswear Collective showing was a promising look into collections from six emerging designers. Those in attendance had the opportunity to view 6 stylistically different runway shows in one.

Blac Ivy’s dark street wear showcased elongated tees, lightweight bombers, and both muted and dark tones for an uncharacteristically chilly Spring/Summer 2015. Giofre built upon this theme emphasizing looks rooted in black that played with both loose-fitting and slim silhouettes. Noxiuz was the most vibrant collection of the bunch heavily emphasizing bold graphic prints on tees, pants, and socks.

Christian Bernard paid homage to Native American culture with in graphic print wovens, feather-detailed pullovers, and brown leather suiting. This collection drew even more attention with its barely there swimwear and the sole women’s look of the show-an autumn-inspired maxi dress. Daft Minerva and Figgie Shoes previewed a futuristic Spring/Summer 2015 with geometric prints and sheer leggings. Apollonius closed out the show with oversized black and white contrast looks reminiscent of Alexander Wang. All in all, the lively crowd saw a glimpse into a fearless SS15 for men.
