H&M Unveils NY Flagship At Herald Square
/in Fashion/by Stephanie RedheadToday, fast fashion retailer H&M will unveil its largest store in the world located at 1 Herald Center in Manhattan at 12 noon with a special performance by Grammy Award singer/songwriter John Legend. H&M Herald Center sits at the southwest corner of 34th street where Broadway and 6th Avenue meet and spans 63,000 square feet. It includes 4 floors of fashion and will house men’s, women’s and children apparel, H&M Home Collection, cosmetics and a shoe department for both men and women.
The H&M Herald Center store marks the retailer’s 13th location in Manhattan and its 3rd flagship in New York City. Legend is scheduled to perform and cut the ribbon on opening day where 20 winners chosen at random will have the opportunity for a meet and greet with the singer. In addition, the store will distribute Fashion Passes and giveaways and vouchers to customers who donate garments to be recycled in partnership with their sustainability efforts.
