Milk Gallery Unveils Peter Arnell Exhibit
Tuesday night, Milk Gallery organized a VIP opening of Peter Arnell’s photographs, 1984-2014 curated and assembled by architect Frank Gehry. The exhibit, all in black and white is laid out chronologically to map out Arnell’s artistic voyage, from Tokyo to Paris, to Rome. It also encompassed photos of New York from his early years: The city skyline with the Twin Towers, the iconic DKNY mural when it was originally painted on Houston Street in 1992, and a portrait of Andy Warhol. To celebrate, guests including Martha Stewart and Gayle King stopped by along with friends and socials to wish the artist well on his first photo exhibition. “Peter has finally taken a baby step jump into the world of art… I know he is nervous about it, and I keep explaining to him that it only matters that he loves what he is doing and there are people who will equally enjoy and love what he is doing. Hopefully this show of his work will prove my point”, noted Gehry. Photographs 1984-2014 by Peter Arnell will run through April 1 in the Milk Gallery.
