Our Favorite Food & Wine Festival Is Returning This Fall
Fall is one of our favorite seasons. Taking in the fresh crisp air, the quintessential practice of peeking leaves changing colors, and savoring pumpkin lattes. Fall is also the best time to enjoy eating while spending time outside. New York City Wine & Food Festival allows us this opportunity. NYCWFF, the annual event now in its 11thyear, will play host to over 70 food-lover related happenings across New York from October 11-14. 100% of net proceeds will benefit hunger-relief organizations No Kid Hungry and Food Bank For New York City.
The four-day affair will feature unique dining events from iconic chefs including Marcus Samuelsson, Daniel Boulud and Alain Ducasse, signature tastings, hands-on classes and late-night parties involving Tacos & Tequila and a Dessert-Soiree. The line-up of events occur at Pier 92 featuring the Signature Grand Tasting, the crowd fave: Blue Moon Burger Bash presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats, and the family-friendly Coca-Cola Backyard BBQ.
There are many new parties this year including 90’s Flashback Friday hosted by Rev Run, a Breakfast Pajama Party, Cocktails and Cool Bites led by Ted Allen, and Drag Brunch hosted by Countess Luann de Lesseps. Tickets can be purchased online at nycwff.org or by dialing (800) 764-8773. To continue experiencing the best food and wine this fall/winter, visit the sister event, South Beach Wine & Food Festival, (SOBEWFF) which takes place every February in Miami, Florida.
