Throwing A Brunch Party? Here Are 4 Cocktails Fit For A Crowd
A brunch party is not complete without the perfect drink. Sure you can serve the usual mimosas or Bloody Marys but why not take your next brunch fete up a notch? Our friends from Casamigos gave us a lesson on the best cocktails to serve during brunch. Here are 4 sips that strike an elegant balance of brilliant refreshment and smart sophistication.
Rosita Margarita
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Casamigos Reposado Tequila
- 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- 1 oz. Campari
- 1 oz. Simple Syrup
Method:
Combine all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker with ice. Next, strain and pour into glass with ice. Garnish with lime.
Reposado New Fashioned
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Casamigos Reposado
- .25 oz. Simple Syrup
- 2 Dashes Grapefruit Bitters
- 2 Dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
- Garnish: 1 rolled Grapefruit peel through skewer
Method:
Combine all ingredients into glass mixer. Add ice. Stir with bar spoon for about 30 seconds. Strain into glass. Add large ice block. Garnish with grapefruit peel.
Smoky Casa Margarita
Ingredients:
- 2oz. Casamigos Mezcal
- 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
- .75 oz. Agave Nectar
- 2 Dashes Orange Bitters
- Garnish: Flamed Orange Peel
Method:
Combine all ingredients into cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake well. Strain into rocks glass. Add fresh ice. Garnish with orange peel.
Casa Cider
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Casamigos Reposado
- 1 oz. Apple Cider
- 1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- .5oz Ginger Syrup
- .5oz Agave Nectar
- 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
- 1 Pinch Cinnamon
- Garnish: Thin Apple Slice/Thyme Sprig/Star Anise
Method:
Combine all ingredients into cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake vigorously for 8-10 seconds. Strain into rocks glass. Add fresh ice. Garnish.
