Delicious Mother’s Day Cocktails And Drinks To Serve This Sunday
Mother’s Day is around the corner and on their dedicated day, the stakes are high to show your appreciation with something truly meaningful. You’ve gotten her the perfect gift, wrote a thoughtful card, but what about whipping up Mother’s Day Cocktails? Just because brunch plans are canceled this year, does not mean the celebration stops. We have selected a few libations that are sure to please the busy mom, the ambitious mom, the sophisticated mom, and everyone else in between. Because one thing is for certain- they could all use a drink right now. Below are Mother’s Day Cocktail recipes featuring an array of floral liqueurs, and flavorings to help mom celebrate her special day.
The Sophisticate
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ parts D’USSE VSOP Cognac
- ¾ part St Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- Top with Martini & Rossi Prosecco
- Lemon twist garnish
Method:
Add D’usee and St Germain Elderflower Liqueur into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a champagne flute. Top with chilled Martini & Rossi Prosecco.
The Achiever
Ingredients:
- 2 parts D’USSE VSOP Cognac
- ½ part cranberry juice
- 1 ½ parts pineapple juice
- Lime wedge garnish
Method:
Build all ingredients in a highball glass with ice. Enjoy!
Peroni Limone:
Ingredients:

1.5 oz of Limoncello

4 oz of lemonade

5.5 oz Peroni
Method:
Pour all ingredients into a beer glass. Next, fill glass with ice. Garnish with lemon slice & mint.
Ketel One Botanical Spritz
Ingredients:
- 5 oz Ketel One Botanical
- 3 oz Club Soda
- Garnish of Fresh Fruit or Herbs
Method:
Select your choice of Ketel One Botanical varietal (Peach & Orange Blossom, Cucumber & Mint, Grapefruit & Rose). Combine in a wine glass over ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with your choice of fresh fruit or herbs.
Ketel One Vodka’s Green Mary
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ oz Ketel One Vodka
- 3 ½ oz freshly juiced equal parts of celery and cucumber (or any greens you have readily available)
- ½ oz Freshly squeezed lime
- 1 pinch of rock salt, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and dried chili flakes
- Half a vanilla pod
Method:
Add all ingredients to the glass, stir well, add ice, garnish with a salted cucumber slice and vanilla pod and enjoy!
Western Smash
Ingredients:
- 2 oz High West American Prairie Bourbon
- 2 Lemon wedges
- 5 mint leaves Mint
- ½ oz Simple Syrup
Method:
Muddle lemon wedges, mint and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Next, add ice and bourbon. Shake vigorously and serve over crushed ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with lemon wheel and mint.
Palio di Siena
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz. Bonded Bourbon
- 0.25 oz. Cynar
- 0.25 oz. Fernet Branca
- 0.5 oz. Demerara Syrup (or Turbinado Syrup)
- Mint
Method:
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Double strain into a mint julep cup. Add crushed ice and garnish with mint.
Patron Margarita
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Patron Silver Tequila
- ½ oz Cointreau
- ½ oz Agave
- ¾ oz Lime Juice
- Lime Wheel and Maldon Salt to Garnish
Method :
Add ingredients to a shaker and shake well. Strain and serve in a salt rimmed glass with a lime wheel over ice.
The Bridge

Ingredients:
- 5oz Junipero Gin
- .75oz Dolin Blanc Vermouth
- .75oz Chamomile Infused Aperol
- 2 Dashes Lemon Bitters
Method:
Stir all ingredients into a mixing glass. Strain into an air coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon peel zest.
Basil Hayden’s® Lemon Julep

Ingredients:
- 1 ½ parts Basil Hayden’s® Bourbon
- ¾ parts Elderflower Liqueur
- 1 part Lemon Juice
- ¾ parts Simple Syrup
- 4 Mint Leaves
- Soda Water
- Lemon Wheel (for garnish)
Method:
Muddle three mint leaves in a rocks glass and add remaining ingredients in order, excluding soda water. Next, fill the glass with crushed ice and top with soda water. Then, gently stir ingredients with a bar or mixing spoon. Garnish with lemon wheel and mint sprig.
