Tadashi Shoji’s Rose Scented Fragrance Debuted During NYFW

The Rose Scented Fragrance Debuted During New York Fashion Week

Designer Tadashi Shoji loves the smell of roses, and has decided to create a convenient way to have the scent linger on our skin. He recently unveiled his first fragrance, Eau de Rose, which made its debut during New York Fashion Week. Inspired by the gardens in Japan, Eau de Rose is a refreshing surge of lavish extravagance.

Adding a fragrance category to the brand suggests the designer is building a lifestyle brand. The label currently includes apparel, bridal, accessories, shapewear and kids and has been worn by notables such as Michelle Obama, Octavia Spencer, Kate Hudson and Katy Perry.

Eau de rose features top notes of bergamot, lemon, mandarin, grapefruit, rhubarb and blackcurrant. Body notes incorporate rose, jasmine, osmanthus, lily of the valley and cedarwood. And the dry down has notes of musk, frankincense, patchouli, rose absolute, and oudh oil. The fragrance collection highlights an Eau de parfum in 3.4oz ($135) and 1.7 oz. ($110) a 5oz body crème ($55) and a rollerball ($27). It is sold exclusively at Lord & Taylor and is also available in Tadashi Shoji stores.
