The Roger Vivier Famous Shoe Worth Celebrating The Re-Launch of Virgule

Tuesday night Bruno Frisoni hosted an intimate cocktail party at Paul Sevigny’s newest venue, Paul’s Baby Grand, to celebrate the re-launch of the iconic curved heel, Virgule. Originally designed by Roger Vivier in 1963, this Roger Vivier famous shoe Virgule translates to “comma” in English and is the ideal description for the extravagant pump. Frisoni gave the classic design a little makeover and partnered with model/DJ Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor, and photographer Olivia Bee to celebrate the re-launch. The scene included PYT’s, bubbly and images of Virgule photographed by Bee in the backdrop. Guests included Hamish Bowles, Annabelle Dexter Jones, Kate Young, Genevieve Jones, Nicky Hilton, and Courtney Love. The ad campaign photographed by Bee in Paris features Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor, (daughter of photographer Amanda de Cadenet and John Taylor of Duran Duran). “I am very excited to be the face of the Virgule Collection”, noted Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor, “There is so much history behind the Roger Vivier brand.
