Bloomingdale’s Unveils Their Holiday Windows Inspired By Light

Monday evening, Bloomingdale’s unveiled their holiday windows influenced by the theme, “light”. To kick things off, the cast of the Broadway musical, Dear Evan Hansen performed at Beacon Court on 59th street between Third and Lexington Avenues. Immediately following the performance, the hyped crowd moved to Bloomingdale’s Lexington Avenue entrance for the anticipated undraping. For the 2016 holiday windows, Bloomingdale’s partnered with a set of 8 exciting visual artists including Susanne Bartsch, Abby Modell, and George Kroenert to create one-of-a-kind chandeliers as part of the holiday campaign theme. The eight chandeliers were bespoke exclusively for Bloomingdale’s, will be auctioned off to benefit the Child Mind Institute. Child Mind Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children fighting mental health and learning disorders.   The auction is hosted on CharityBuzz.com/BloomingdalesAuction through December 20th. Opening bids start at $2,000 and 100% of the net proceeds from the auction will benefit the Child Mind Institute. In addition, a portion of the sales of the collectible Little Brown Bear will benefit the Child Mind Institute as well.
