Sofia Vergara Launches New Scent Exclusively On HSN

Actress Sofia Vergara best known for her role on ABC’s Modern Family will launch her first scent, Sofia by Sofia Vergara, exclusively on HSN April 24th and later will rollout nationwide to retailers in September. “I wanted to bring a little bit of which I am, my ethnicity and create a fragrance that is a true reflection of me,” mentioned Vergara when discussing her new scent. The fragrance includes top notes of blackberry, sparkling cassis buds and plum.  The heart embodies purple violet, Colombian rose and Colombian Orchid with a drydown of earthy woods, vanilla, and sandalwood.  The Eau de Parfum retails for $55 (100ml.) or $48 (50ml.) and a shimmer body lotion for $30.

Midnight Romance, the new fragrance by Ralph Lauren hits counters this month at select retail stores.  Whereas the original Romance scent is much lighter and more innocent, Midnight Romance expresses a sensual mystique of a woman.

The floriental juice includes top notes of raspberry, Italian bergamot and juicy lychee.  The heart embraces peony, jasmine sambac and freesia with a drydown of black vanilla, iris absolute and ambrox.   Print and TV advertising was shot by Bruce Weber and features a new fragrance face, Anna Selezneva, who also walked the Ralph Lauren runway fashion show. Midnight Romance Eau de Parfum is available in three sizes: 100ml. for $94, 50ml. for $74, and 30ml. for $52.  Ancillary products include a 200ml. body moisturizer and shower & gel both retailing $41 and a 10ml. rollerball for $23.
