Super Bowl Cocktail Recipes To Serve For The Big Game

Super Bowl parties will be jammed-packed with people enjoying the game, and or the commercials, having a little nosh, and consuming a large amount of beer. This year, why not stir things up and add cocktails to game night? Sure, brews are the standard and you can be one of the millions of people purchasing or bringing a six-pack, (we heard over 50 million cases are sold) or you can add a colorful cocktail to the spread. Here are few recipes to serve for the big game because beer should never be the only option.

Super Bowl Cocktails

The Touchdown

  • 1 oz. Hangar 1 Buddha’s Hand Vodka
  • 5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 5 oz. Honey Syrup*
  • 2 oz. California Sparkling Wine

Preparation: Add all ingredients except sparkling wine in shaker. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled Champagne Flute. Top cocktail with sparkling California wine. Garnish with an expressed long lemon peel.

The Cuervo Margarita

  • 2 parts Jose Cuervo Especial® Silver
  • 1 part fresh lime juice
  • 1 parts triple sec
  • Lime for garnish
  • Salt for rim
  • Ice

Preparation: In a cocktail shaker, add ice, Jose Cuervo Especial® Silver tequila, triple sec and fresh lime juice with agave syrup to taste. Then, shake well. Run the lime wedge around the rim of glass then dip the glass into salt. Add ice to the glass and strain in contents of the shaker. Garnish the glass with a lime wedge and enjoy!

  • 2 oz of 1800 Silver
  • 1 oz ginger beer
  • 1 tsp of chipotle pepper
  • .5 oz cane sugar
  • .5oz fresh lime juice
  • Pinch of cilantro

Preparation: Add all ingredients except ginger beer into shaker. Shake and double strain into iced Collins glass. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with cilantro. **Substitution: chipotle powder
