New Balance is launching its first women’s catalog appealing to its female athletic consumer by highlighting a collection of fitness apparel and footwear inspired by the shared love of sport. The 72-page book will arrive to customers beginning this week followed by a similar –sized one in November and one closer to the Thanksgiving/Holiday season. The title is called NB Women, and mark’s the Boston-based company’s initiative in targeting the athletic woman. To fete, a celebration was held in New York’s City Lightbox where editors received a sneak peek of the collection. The catalog features the essentials including bras, tanks, bottoms and footwear for every category including running, yoga, tennis and event street style. Additions include Merino wool half zips, and Jackets highlighting NB heat tech fabric for cooler months. Apparel ranges in price from $29.99 for running shorts to $199.95 for 998 trendsetter kicks. Throughout the catalog, readers are invited to experience an augmented reality shopping experience by downloading the Bliappar app, to unlock exclusive content. Later this month, NB Women is scheduled to host a Girls Night Out event nationwide to introduce the newest fitness trends, have girls sweat with friends and celebrate.
