Try One Or All Of These Halloween Cocktail Recipes For Your Next Bash
Throwing a Halloween party? We spoke to a few cocktail industry experts to see what they are stirring up this season. So whether your festivities include binge watching the top 100 horror movies, hosting a sophisticated dinner soiree , or an all-night costume bash, here are a few Halloween cocktail recipes that are sure to spice up your night.
Bold Fashioned

- 2 oz. Highland Park MAGNUS
- 1 small pinch of salt or 3 dashes salt tincture
- .25 oz. honey
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes mole bitters
In a mixing glass add ice and ingredients. Stir. Strain into an old fashioned glass with a large cube of ice. Garnish with a long lemon peel and a flamed orange twist.
Viking Crush

- 2 oz. Highland Park MAGNUS
- 3 Raspberries
- 3 fresh mint leaves
- .5 oz. lemon juice
- 4 oz. Ginger beer – Q, Fever Tree, or Reeds
In a shaker tin, muddle the berries and fresh mint. Add the lemon juice, MAGNUS and ice. Shake and double strain into a large Collins glass. Top with ginger beer*. If too tart, add a dash of simple syrup to balance. Use crushed ice if possible. Regular cubes if not. Garnish with a pick of fresh berries and a mint sprig.
(If using ginger syrup instead of ginger beer, use 1 oz. of syrup and top with 3 oz. seltzer.)
The Founder’s Delight

- 2 oz. Highland Park MAGNUS
- 1 oz. Campari
- 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
Stir and strain over large ice in a large rocks glass. Garnish with a broad orange peel.
Foggy Memory

- Bar spoon honey Syrup
- 4 dashes all spice dram
Build over large cube in a large rocks glass. Smoke in smoking chamber before serving. Garnish with a broad orange peel.
The Funeral Pyre

- 2 oz. Highland Park MAGNUS
- 1 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz. Lime Juice
- .5 oz. Orange Juice
- 1 oz. Coconut Cream
Shake and strain over crushed ice into a Collins glass. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
Delios Delight
- 3 oz. Fos Mastiha
- 3 oz. apple cider
- Splash of fresh lemon juice
Garnish with 1 apple slice and a cinnamon stick
Vampire Sangria
- 2 oz. Apothic Dark sangria
- 1 oz. Fos Greek Mastiha
- 2 Black grapes,
- 1 Orange slice
Purple sugar rim
