New York City is receiving an early holiday gift with the opening of Goop Mrkt Pop up store arriving today at The Shops at Columbus Circle through December 24. Goop, the e-commerce lifestyle site founded in 2008 by Chief Creative Officer, Gwyneth Paltrow is inviting NYC’s global clientele for the first time to experience its curated assortment in person. Previous Goop Mrkt popups were held in Dallas, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Now, New York customers will be transported into a digital world designed by Roman and Williams, filled with hand-made custom furniture and accessories creating a downtown lofty-setting.
As for the merchandise, Goop Mrkt Pop up has unveiled an exclusive Goop “Wonder Woman Valentino” capsule collection designed by Valentino Creative Directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli in collaboration with Roman street artist SOLO. The 24 -piece capsule collection is a sneak peek into what will be in the brand’s stores globally this April. The collection includes an embroidered leather jacket ($8,900) and dress ($6,950) in the same design that is sure to be a hit this festive season, and fashion accessories embellished in studs and prints that can be easily mixed and matched to one’s wardrobe.
In addition, customers will be able to shop curated selections from Land’s End, Reebok, Carbon 38 and Skagen and purchase favorites from fashion and beauty brands including Nili Lotan, Carven, Stella McCartney and Juice Beauty. Goop Mrket will be open 10:00am – 8:00pm Monday – Saturday and 12:00pm – 6:00pm on Sunday. Daily make-up touch ups will also be offered from select beauty brands as well servings of matcha green tea lattes from West Village based Chalait. Additionally, tastings of Smartwater Sparkling will be provided and special holiday happy hours in partnership with DEWAR’S 12.
