As part of their Fall 2013 “Project Live Your Life” campaign, American Eagle has unveiled “Rock Your Walk” their first ever denim runway video. The video is actually a seamless series of videos celebrating one’s style in their latest American Eagle jeans. “Our Live Your Life campaign has been a huge success because it resonates with our customers desire to tell their story and express their optimistic, individual style,” noted Michael Leedy, Chief Marketing Officer, American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. To celebrate the launch, a bash was held at the American Eagle’s Times Square location where fashion influencers, trendsetters and the well-heeled crowd observed the unveiling of “Rock Your Walk” video. Attendees included Jessica Szohr, Vanessa Hudgens, celebrity stylist Dani Stahl, blogger Bryanboy and DJs Hannah Bronfman, Brendan Fallis and Harley Viera-Newton.
Right now, American Eagle customers from New York to Los Angeles are able to upload their own ‘Rock Your Walk’ video by visiting www.ae.com/RockYourWalk from a computer or their mobile device via Instagram or Vine. Customer’s videos will be added to the ongoing video as it treks across the country. The crème de la crème will be featured on American Eagle’s 15,000 square foot LED billboard screens in Times Square. In addition, Shazam App has partnered with American Eagle by offering fans the opportunity to download for free Bruno Mars’ song, “Treasure” on Shazam during the commercial’s airing from August 9th –August 25th.
